TTL video orders Custom Consoles' Module-R desk system

Bedfordshire-based Custom Consoles has delivered the first in its new range of Module-R technical furniture to TTL Video.
A four-seat inline desk was chosen as part of the new TV and Radio studio complex ordered by The BBC World Service Trust and supplied to the new regional broadcaster Al-Mirbad Television based in Basra, Iraq. Four 10U bays with sloping front panels are located to the rear of the desk. These will house presentation control equipment.
TTL Video technical manager Alan Green commented: "Module-R has arrived at the right time. We were able to configure a desk system exactly meeting our client's needs in terms of ergonomic efficiency, structural stability, and modern styling. The desk is spray-finished in grey with a matching hard-wearing Linoleum work surface and supported on forward-angled silver-finished steel legs."
A recent addition to the Custom Consoles range, Module-R enables robust, efficient and attractive technical control desks to be produced to individual requirements from a range of high-quality desk pods, base sections, worktops, rear tops, end-panel modules and steel legs. The desk pods are available as single or multi-bay sections with a choice of 3U, 6U or 8U chassis capacity. Cabinet construction is in high-quality grey-finished MDF. Cable management ducts are integrated into all desk sections.
