Custom Consoles Unveils EditOne-Radio Desk

Custom Consoles has added to its range of broadcast and post-production studio equipment with the introduction of the EditOne-Radio desk.

The desk has been developed from the company's EditOne edit suit desk ans is designed for use in radio interview suites, presentation studios and voiceover booths.

Dimensions of the EditOne-Radio desk, including one studio-guest position, are 2,770mm wide by 1,625mm front-to-back by 740mm high. The presenter's work surface is 2,000mm wide x 1,140mm front to back, allowing space for freestanding equipment. Standard worktop finish is a foil applied by a thermoform press, with powder coated underside surfaces. Other finishes can be supplied to order.

In addition to the 11U pedestal, options available for the EditOne-Radio desk include a computer mounting kit, mains power distribution and a USB hub.

Neil Reed, Managing Director, Custom Consoles, said: "EditOne-Radio is a very versatile desk which can be configured to match a wide range of audio production environments including live radio broadcasting. Developed from our established EditOne edit suite desk, it shares the same modern styling and goes beyond traditional studio furniture construction by using sculpted MDF support panels rather than metal legs.

"Studio guest work surfaces can be attached to left or right the side of the EditOne-Radio desk, or on both sides, bridging across to an optional pedestal accommodating up to 11 rack units of equipment. Three mounting points are located along the rear of the desk to accommodate a microphone and flat screen display monitors. An additional mounting point can be used to support the guest microphone. The guest's work surface is fitted with an acoustically damped surface to minimise noise."
