EUROPEAN PITCH POINT CALL FOR SCRIPTWRITERS

THE EUROPEAN pitch point will again be the forum enabling professional scriptwriters to present their projects to an international audience of producers, distributors and commissioning editors during the Berlin International Film Festival on February 8, 2002.
Professional scriptwriters can submit a treatment for a fiction TV or feature film of no more than ten pages until October 8, 2001. The treatment should be in English. All genres are acceptable.
Original and innovative projects with a universal appeal and geared towards an international market will have the best chance, to convince the international jury, which will select the 12 best projects for the event.
In order to achieve the best possible presentation on the day of the event at european pitch point 2002, the 12 selected scriptwriters will be trained during an intensive workshop.
The success of the past two years is evidence that the european pitch point has created an exclusive network which enables professional scriptwriters to establish themselves on the international market.
