MoMedia International Expands Team To Drive European Growth

Leading digital media company MoMedia International has made two senior appointments to further strengthen its distribution and managed services business.
Former Studio Executive Donna Smith takes the role of Commercial Director for Managed Content Services, while former Zodiak Entertainment Acquisitions Executive Michael Jackson has been appointed European Sales Director.
Smith will manage commercial aspects of MoMedia's Managed Content Services business, which assists broadcasters and digital platforms with launch strategies, commercial negotiations and acquisitions of film and TV content for platform launches as well as ongoing roll out.
As a Director of DKS Consultancy, Smith's previous clients include Amstore Group, Paramount Digital Entertainment and Tesco Digital.
Jackson will be tasked with furthering MoMedia's business in Europe by focusing on managing acquisitions for linear and VOD broadcast partners. While at Zodiak, he was responsible for sourcing formats and finished programmes from around the world. Previously, he was International Sales Executive at Zeal Entertainment (part of Digital Rights Group), where he sold and licensed content to Holland, Belgium, Israel, Russia and Central and Eastern Europe.
Lucas Bertrand, CEO, MoMedia International, said: "We are delighted to have Michael and Donna on board. Their experience in international acquisitions and commercial management respectively will prove invaluable to the company as we look to expand both our European reach and further build our Managed Content Services business in 2011."
