Screen Scene expand HD department with Avid DS|HD

Tyrell Content Creation Tools (CCT), a leading provider of technology to Ireland’s post-production and broadcast industry, have announced that Dublin based post-production facility Screen Scene have installed an Avid DS|HD creative, editing and finishing system.
Screen Scene purchased the Avid DS|HD v.6 to fulfil the demand for HD post-production from broadcast, corporate and film markets. After an extensive search of competitive systems the DS was chosen as it provides a complete system able to edit, composite and produce sophisticated effects. The ability to use the Avid DS on long and short format projects and its inherent creative abilities were also cited as reasons for choosing the system.
Jim Duggan, Creative Director, Screen Scene comments on the purchase: “The HD department at Screen Scene is currently the most equipped in Ireland and therefore we had to chose the best and most complete editing system to be part of it. The operators felt this was not only the best system for them but importantly the best system for our clients and potential customers.”
