Screen Training Ireland Delivers 'VFX: Script To Screen'

Screen Training Ireland, the training arm of Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB), is delivering the second module of its programme 'VFX: Script to Screen' in Dublin this week.
The programme is currently underway, and is running from November 21 to 23.
Tutors for the module include VFX supervisors Peter Hjorth (Nymphomaniac, Melancholia, Antichrist), Jeppe N. Christensen (A Royal Affair, Kick Ass) and Ed Bruce (Last Days on Mars, Ripper Street, Game of Thrones), VFX producer Laura Livingstone (Zoic Studios) and director Brian Kirk (Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter).
Module 2 focuses on how VFX impacts production and the interaction between director, DOP and VFX Supervisor.
"'VFX: Script to Screen' provides producers, directors and key creatives from Europe with an overview of visual effects from development to post-production and provides access to the highest level of international visual effects talent," a statement from IFB said.
"Screen Training Ireland, as the training arm of Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board, provides on-going training for the screen sectors through the delivery of world-class training initiatives."
VFX: Script to Screen is supported by the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
