Dutch broadcaster purchases multiple Inscriber Inca AutoCG systems

NOS, the national broadcaster of The Netherlands, has purchased six Inca AutoCG systems to be used for newscasts.
The Inca AutoCG systems are a recent addition to NOS' new studios, and will provide nine output channels for news delivery.
Inca AutoCG combines superior CG functionality with automation. Utilising Inscriber's innovative new Inca platfrom, Inca AutoCG can automatically broadcast multi-layer graphics, clock, logos and real-time clip-to-clip dissolves on a single channel. Inca AutoCG is also fully compatible with Inscriber's extensive line of character generators.
Inca AutoCG will be used in conjunction with VMP Studio, one of Inscriber's professional character generators. News rundowns are created in VMP Studio and passed via a standard network to the Inca AutoCG systems for playout. News operators control live playout through Direct Control, Inca AutoCG's operator control component. Direct Control provides a streamlined interface for content control, and can be remotely managed from anywhere on the network.
"News happens fast, and broadcasters need the ability to react instantly. This is especially true in today's competitive environment, where every second means ratings. A standard CG interface can't handle this quick pace", said Alex Wackley, Senior Product Manager at Inscriber. "Direct Control's intuitive interface makes it possible for even inexperienced CG operators to drive content to air, while maintaining superior speed and flexibility."
The Inca AutoCG systems join a growing base of Inscriber products that have powered NOS' broadcasts for many years. This installation was the result of close collaboration between Inscriber, Inscriber reseller MVS Video and NOS to equip NOS' new studios with a flexible network-based environment.
