ZONE VISION SIGN DEAL WITH INTERCABLE CZ
ZONE Vision, the London-based thematic channel producers and distributors, have signed a deal with Intercable CZ, one of the Czech Republic’s largest cable operators for two of their popular thematic channels.
Zone Vision’s action-packed Reality TV channel launched in November 2001 and Romantica will follow in February next year.
The agreement with Intercable CZ completes Zone Vision’s deals with all key operators in the Czech Republic and brings an additional 110,000 new subscribers to each of the channels.
Reality TV, the first channel to launch as part of this deal will broadcast 24 hours a day in Czech language version.
Reality TV is one of the world's first action-packed channels that comprises a compelling mix of fly-on-the-wall documentaries and caught on camera survival stories.
The popular Romantica channel offers top quality telenovelas mixing passion and jealousy, politics and power, crime, glamour and betrayal to audiences across Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey.
Since the launch of the channel in May 1998, Romantica has rolled out across 22 countries and there are plans to extend broadcast to additional territories next year. (CD)
