Martin Altham joins Broadcast Technology

Broadcast Technology have announced the appointment of Martin Altham as International Sales Manager, effective from October 1.
He brings 24 years of broadcast and security industry experience, having commenced his career at Racal in 1979. Moving from engineering to management roles, he became Technical Manager of Racal Radio in Dubai and in 1987 joined Racal's Transcom division. In 1996 he joined the fledgling NDS (formed from Digital Media Vision and News Data Systems), remaining with the company until it became part of Tandberg. In 1999 he moved to the Mindport Solutions division of Irdeto, specialising in systems integration, pay-TV, head-end reception and conditional-access. Prior to joining Broadcast Technology, he was Sales Manager at Irdeto Access covering the UK, Ireland and the Nordic region for DVB products and all of Europe for IP TV projects.
