Vincent Eade Joins Snell As Regional Sales Manager, Nordics And Ireland

Snell has announced that Vincent Eade has joined the company's European sales team as Regional Sales Manager for the Nordics and Ireland.
Reporting to Mark Gardner, Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Eade will be responsible for building Snell's sales presence and installed base throughout the Nordic region via direct customer relationships and distribution channel management.
Gardner said: "We are delighted that Vince has chosen to join our team. He has a rich and varied background in both product and solutions-based sales. His recent time at Sony has given him a great understanding of live production requirements in both studios and OBs, and this will help to underpin our considerable growth in these areas. Vince's proven business development expertise will be a huge asset as we continue to expand our market presence in the Nordic countries and Ireland."
Just prior to joining Snell, Eade served as Technical Account Manager for Sony UK, where he was responsible for sales in the company's Irish market, to independent broadcasters such as ITV, and to UK systems integrators. He also served as a Product Manager for Sony, and has held other previous sales positions including Sales Manager at Harris Communications/Leitch and Area Sales Manager for Quantel.
Eade is also a former broadcast engineer for TV3, and he served in customer/technical support positions for both Quantel and Leitch. Eade holds an HND in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
