Enhance Technology, a leading provider of data storage solutions for Enterprise and SMBs, has announced it has joined the Emulex Technology Partner Programme, ensuring compatibility between Enhance Technology's RS8 FS and RS16 FS Hybrid RAID storage with Emulex's LightPulse family of Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), including the LP1150/1100x and LPe 1150/1100x.
By combining Enhance Technology and Emulex solutions, high-performance RAID storage meets high-performance HBAs to offer superior interoperability and scalability.
The RS8 FS and RS16 FS are both 4Gb Fibre-to-SAS/SATA RAID storage devices, designed to operate in mission critical and data-intensive network environments. Features include hot-swappable drive trays and cooling fan modules, as well as a built-in RAID controller that can remotely monitor and manage the storage system through a web-based GUI. This brings together protection, manageability and maintenance without interruption of services.
In staying with Enhance Technology's direction to go green, the combination of Enhance's UltraStor RS8 FS/RS16 FS and Emulex's LightPulse HBAs is perfect for VMware ESX 3.5, the leading server virtualisation solution.
