McMillan invest in revolutionary wireless technology

McMillan have purchased four BBC WiCam digital radio cameras for their Hires Division.
This substantial investment in technology makes McMillan the only company in Europe able to sell, support and hire the revolutionary wireless technology systems from BBC WiScape. Since the Wicam's launch in 2003, McMillan Hires has used systems at major corporate, concert and sporting events and after the success of these decided to make a further investment to benefit its rental customers and allow potential purchasers an opportunity to have hands on experience with this advanced technology. The unique digital radio technology allows the camera crew to film freely without cables, is flexible and offers improved safety, plus with the correct set up, has no picture break-up providing robust and very high-quality pictures. The systems will therefore be ideal for outside broadcast, corporate events and consumer events such as fashion shows and pop concerts, where switching between wireless and standard camera technology will appear seamless to the viewers.
As with its all it products in the rental department, McMillan Hires can provide the professional set-up for the BBC WiCam plus any other support if required and this can include 24-7 telephone helpline.
