BBC T&D to highlight satellite and digital courses at IBC

BBC Training & Development, the world's largest trainer for the broadcast industry, are to showcase their range of satellite, digital video for the web and streaming media courses at this year's IBC (stand number 9.151).
Over the past year, BBC Training & Development (BBC T&D) have provided nearly 4,000 courses for over 24,500 people both within and outside the BBC.
The satellite courses range from introductory to advanced, and cater both for technical and non-technical staff. All satellite courses include training on the transmission and reception of vision and audio signals, as well as how data can be carried.
For people producing video for the web using digital video cameras, their practical course on Shooting Digital Video for the Web is ideal.
The Introduction to Streaming Media course is aimed at people with a basic knowledge of web production. It includes how to edit, encode and integrate audio and video material into your site, as well as providing a grounding in the production standards and issues relating to the use of Real Media. It will offer an understanding of the software and hardware involved.
As well as their satellite, digital video for the web, and media streaming courses, there will also be information available on the full range of BBC T&D courses.
