RTÉ Publishing appoint Commercial Director

RTÉ Publishing have appointred Paul Crosbie to the position of Commercial Director.
Following the restructuring of RTÉ into Integrated Business Divisions, the Commercial Director, RTÉ Publishing, is a new position reporting to the Executive Director of RTÉ publishing, Muírne Laffan.
Crosbie, who joined RTÉ Commercial Énterprises as commercial manager in 2001, will be responsible for driving revenue, managing an expanded sales team and facilitating key account management with fellow Commercial Directors in TV, Radio and Network divisions. He will lead a Commercial team who are responsible for all sales, marketing, promotional and commercial deals with third parties.
RTÉ publishing encompasses the RTÉ Guide (Irelands largest selling magazine), rte.ie, Aertel, SMS and IDR and is one of the leading Irish based digital electronic publishers and content providers across the Web, Teletext and on Mobile platforms.
Crosbie worked previously as Advertising Manager for the Irish Examiner for five years before joining RTÉ Commercial Enterprises Ltd in 2001 as Commercial Manager. In this role, his team was responsible for a strong revenue performance in a climate of a general downturn.
