Atlantic Productions Appoint Commercial Director

Award-winning factual production company, Atlantic Productions has announced the appointment of former senior BBC executive, John Morris as Commercial Director.
In his newly created role, John will be responsible for developing and exploiting new commercial opportunities for Atlantic Productions, including distribution and sponsorship.

John has considerable experience in the industry having been previously at HIT Entertainment Plc. (Senior VP Global TV and Home Entertainment), IMG (Head of Sales and Acquisitions Factual and Entertainment), Sparrowhawk Distribution Limited (Managing Director) responsible for distributing all rights to the Hallmark library, RTL/Disney (Head of Marketing) and BBC Worldwide (Head of Investment and Operations).
John joins from leading children’s factual company; Cookie Jar Entertainment, where he was responsible for sales and co-productions and on-demand/digital platforms for such brand titles as Sonic the Hedgehog and Paddington Bear.
