LipSync Appoints Commercial Director

LipSync has announced the appointment of Andrew Boswell in the role of Commercial Director. Andrew will be tasked with attracting more projects for equity investment and post-production to the facility, as the company enters the international co-production arena for both film and television projects.
Andrew brings high level film and television production experience gained from companies including Molinare and Mob Film Company, with a CV including Invisible Woman (BBC Films), Lemon Not in 3D (Lionsgate), The Borrowers (Working Title Television), and the Sundance hit Grabbers (Sony Pictures). He has built key co-production relationships with companies in the US, Canada, Australia, Germany and South Africa, and maintains an excellent reputation with finance houses, banks, funding agencies, sales agents, distributors, broadcasters, tax funds and completion bonders.
Peter Hampden, Managing Director of LipSync, said: “Andrew is a welcome and valuable addition to the LipSync team as we move to the next phase of development in our production and post-production services. He brings a great deal of added value to projects with his years of experience and knowledge of all phases of film and television production, including script development, financing, pre-production through to post, and final elements including thesale and revenue collection of completed films.”
Andrew Boswell said: “With the advent of the UK tax credit for television and the recent positive changes to the EIS rules, it is an exciting time for the industry. I've always admired LipSync’s innovative approach to film and television investment and I'm looking forward to working closely with Peter and Norman in creating new funds and providing the most attractive post solutions for producers across the world.”
