Snake Ranch plays host to Blur Producer Ben Hillier

Snake Ranch Studios in west London recently hosted a week of sessions for producer Ben Hillier, working on new album tracks for the band Menlo Park.
Ben's work on recent projects with Blur is well known, as is his penchant for vintage gear of all shapes and sizes. Snake Ranch's large control room allowed Ben to house his custom equipment racks and analogue synths with ease and his Lomo valve microphones sounded fabulous in the live room.
Other artists who have been enjoying the relaxed atmosphere at Snake Ranch are Mari Wilson and Linn Records favourite Clare Martin, both recording new solo album projects at the studio with Gerry O'Riordan engineering.
Gerry has also been recording some live sessions for the BBC with Canadian experimental duo Sarah Peebles and Nilan Perera, better known as 'Smash & Teeny', for Radio 3's 'Mixing It' show. The film and television soundtrack business has also been good with top composers like Jim Parker, John Altman, Mark Russell and Rupert Gregson-Williams all completing projects in Snake Ranch's 5.1 capable Studio 1.
