Autodesk appoints Ben Dair to boost Toxik in EMEA

Autodesk Media and Entertainment division has appointed Ben Dair as Toxik Business Development Manager – EMEA, to spearhead business development for its collaborative compositing software, Autodesk Toxik.
Dair joins Autodesk from the high-end finishing department at Avid Technology Europe where he worked as European Product Manager. Prior to this, he moved through the ranks at Nucoda, Xara and Quantel. During his six years in the industry he has worked with a number of high-end post-production applications.
In his new role at Autodesk, Dair will be leading the business development strategies for Toxik’s rollout within Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This will involve the stimulation of training, reseller and consulting channels to pave the way for creative collaboration within film postproduction pipelines using the Autodesk Toxik toolset.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge,” said Dair. “Autodesk Toxik will be the next quantum leap for collaborative film projects, breaking the barriers of small and facility wide pipelines to globally distributed projects.”
