BFI Promotes Ben Roberts To Deputy Chief Executive
The British Film Institute (BFI) has promoted Ben Roberts to deputy chief executive.
Roberts will take up the post on 01 November. It will see him working with BFI CEO Amanda Nevill on a wider remit, including delivery of the organisation’s five year plan, BFI2022.
His responsibilities will include "strengthening BFI relationships with the wider screen industries, promoting cultural diversity across the organization, engaging new audiences and talent, and developing the BFI’s financial sustainability and future commercial strength."
He is currently preparing to deliver the DCMS-backed Contestable Fund aimed at delivering new TV content for young audiences.
