SysMedia report successful NAB

SysMedia Ltd, a UK-based company, have revealed that there has been much interest in their subtitling solutions since NAB 2002.
Attracting particular interest was the company's IPV Flexible Media Architecture (FMA) product, which will enable subtitling companies to stream video over the Internet to subtitling teams around the globe.
Business Manager Michael French said: "The power that FMA gives you means that geographical boundaries disappear and teams of subtitlers can work collaboratively on projects for organisations around the world. Suddenly, localisation and cooperation between teams is achievable, efficient and affordable.
"Our DVD Builder products are ideally suited for the large Hollywood studios looking to turn around speedy subtitling of their blockbuster DVD titles, and we met with a number of companies who are providing subtitling services to the industry. Excited hardly describes how we're feeling about the prospects for this product line."
Also generating interest on the SysMedia booth were the latest additions to the company's subtitling systems for the North American market.
"We've taken a conscious business decision to take on the North American captioning market," said Mr French.
"With our state-of-the-art subtitling systems, we've a wonderful chance of establishing a credible North American business."
