Trilogy secures further Doordashan orders

Trilogy Broadcast, providers of innovative and market leading intercom/talkback, signal monitoring and SPG equipment, has won further orders from Prasar Bharati (Doordashan) - the Broadcasting Corporation of India.
The orders were secured and are being supplied and overseen by AVF Distributors, Trilogy's Indian dealer.
Doordashan, extending its existing relationship with Trilogy with significant orders already placed and installed earlier this year, has purchased a further 11 Mentor SPG/TSG units. The Mentor series offers an accurate and flexible approach in both analogue and digital formats within a 1U chassis, with the ability to upgrade to HD when required an important, in-built specification.
The order has been installed in studio OB units to replace existing analogue systems. Although Doordashan looked at products from other suppliers, the Mentor units were selected because of their flexibility and reliability and with original orders dating back to 1999, the Mentor series continues to prove its quality even in the most adverse of conditions, according to AVF.
Doordashan has also ordered an additional Orator digital intercom system (18 x 18), using high speed TDM architecture to provide wideband audio signal switching and mixing in a 2U case. To be installed in a studio environment, Doordashan is planning to interconnect the two systems using the intelligent trunking facilities of the product.
Trilogy Broadcast design and build product solutions to meet the needs of broadcasters and post-production facilities worldwide.
The range includes Intercom/Talkback systems, Sync and Test Pulse Generators with changeover, and a range of Line Monitoring solutions.
Whilst primarily focussed on the needs of broadcasters, the equipment is increasingly used in theatres, defence applications, conference systems, etc.
