Pepper gives Lenny the blues

Pepper have completed post production on 'Lenny Blue', the two-part Granada drama which is due to air at 9pm on ITV1 on July 1-2.
The 2x75 minute drama stars Ray Winstone reprising the role of DC Lenny Milton, which he played in 'Tough Love', picking up the story a year after Milton turned informant in a corruption investigation. The drama also stars Charlie Creed-Miles, David Hemmings and Ralph Brown.
Senior Colourist Chris Beeton completed grading on the drama using C-Reality. Shane Warden, Avid|DS Artist and Director of Pepper, completed the conform and online and also worked closely with designer Nicky Neate to create the title sequence. In addition Warden created the visual effects for the drama, including the seamless merging of three shots to produce a dramatic sequence of a car crashing into a motorcyclist.
'Lenny Blue' is written by Stephen Butchard ('A&E', 'Little Bird'), produced by David Boulter ('A&E', 'EastEnders') and directed by Andy Wilson ('Gormenghast', 'Cracker'). It is executive produced by Andy Harries, Controller of Granada Drama, and Hugh Warren, Head of Granada Drama.
