HARRIS TO CONTROL GRANADA DRAMA

GRANADA have announced that Andy Harris has been appointed as Controller of Drama.
Harris who is currently Controller of Comedy for Granada will take over from Simon Lewis and Sue Hogg following their departure to the BBC earlier this month.
Granada have not yet disclosed who will take the position as deputy controller. It has been reported that Christine Langan Producer of ‘Cold Feet’ has turned down the post, and is still considering a move to the BBC.
It is understood that Langan is in negotiations with Granada Director of Programmes Grant Mansfield to stay with the ITV company.
