Swedish Company Announces High Profile TV Projects With Nucoda Fuse

A Swedish company specialising in high-resolution image processing, film scanning and motion analysis solutions has announced that Riviera, a full service studio facility for music, sound and post production, based in Stockholm, is using Nucoda Fuse to grade and finish a number of high profile projects.
Riviera opened its Nucoda DI suite last December to extend its established audio capabilities to include colour grading film and television projects.
Image Systems, formerly known as Digital Vision, revealed that one of the first major productions to be graded at Riviera was Arne Dahl, a 10 x 90 minute television drama scheduled to air on SVT and Germany’s ZDF later in the year. Shot on Arri ALEXA Arne Dahl, produced by Filmlance International, is a crime series based on the famous books by the writer of the same name. The first two feature length episodes based on the book Misterioso were graded by Colourist Ola Bäccman on Nucoda Fuse at Riviera. He will grade the second two episodes at the facility in the coming weeks.
Bäccman has also graded a short film titled While You Were Gone produced by Medima Film, which will be screened at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Other projects graded by Bäccman on Nucoda Fuse at Riviera include commercials for Telenor, Expressen, Marieberg (ALEXA with anamorphic lens Hawk), NetXtra, Dreamworks (Red) and Comfort (RED).
Nucoda Fuse first shipped last summer and is already being used by a number of facilities including The Mill in London, Kodak Cinelabs and An-Mar Film Lab both in Greece.
Image Systems’ Nucoda and Phoenix image grading and restoration software solutions and Golden Eye range of scanners provide innovative tools to create and master media in HD, 2K/4K and stereoscopic 3D.
The TEMA software platform provides a range of user friendly, high-speed motion analysis solutions for the automotive industry and other industrial test and design applications. The TrackEye software and Golden Eye scanners provide image analysis solutions for the military reconnaissance and testing markets.
