Nucoda Film Master Forms Heart Of Clear Cut Pictures’ Grading Suite

I Shouldn’t be Alive, a 10 x 60 minute series from Darlow Smithson Productions for Animal Planet, is the first project to be graded by Clear Cut Pictures using Digital Vision’s Nucoda Film Master.
The series, graded by Colourist Peter Lynch, brings to life ten heart-stopping journeys that cross the boundary of human endurance.
Horacio Queiro, Chief Executive Officer of Clear Cut Pictures commented: "Film Master’s new 2009 toolset coupled with the Valhall control panel adds dimension and depth to our clients’ projects. It also allows us to grade in SD, HD and RED natively and enables tapeless transfers to and from our Avid Unity and Final Cut pro suites."
The versatility of the Nucoda Film Master means that colourists can push the creative boundaries and achieve outstanding results. Queiro added: "Film Master has the most amazing HD film effect that doesn’t lose vertical resolution or corrections to frame rates." As well as a number of documentaries, dramas, commercials and corporate projects the facility has three 3D projects in the pipeline that will soon be graded using Film Master’s stereoscopic toolset.
