Cheerful Scout do a 'Professional' Job

Having designed the menus for the recently released first DVD Box-set for the cult TV series The Professionals, Cheerful Scout has just completed work on menu designs for The Professionals DVD Box-set 2, due for release on August 5.
Cheerful Scout’s DVD menus for this well-known crime series draw out and capture the essence of the show by applying the original green, black and white colour-scheme, but with a modern edge. Created by Cheerful Scout’s Gavin Gibbons, the designs focus on the explosive action of the TV show with the main menus featuring the cross hair of a gun within which clips are shown. Similarly, the transitions between menus use sound effects from the episodes such as gunfire and sirens, as well as quotes, and the Scene Selection sub-menus feature a series of clickable cross hairs on a reel of film, which serve to bring up specific scenes.
The Professionals DVD Box-set 2 contains four discs featuring 14 episodes from the series as well as three exciting extras entitled ‘Go! Go! Go! The Cars’, ‘Followers of Fashion’, and ‘Partners in Crime’, which was edited by Cheerful Scout and features an exclusive interview with writer Brian Clemens and composer Laurie Johnson.
