Cheerful Scout appoints new Non-Executive Chairman

Post-production company Cheerful Scout have announced that Stuart Appleton (pictured) is joining the company as their new Non-Executive Chairman.
Mr Appleton is Senior Vice-President of Corporate Communication for Europe’s largest Information & Communications Technology Company, Getronics, and was previously CEO of Clever Media and the Clever Group of Companies (WPP).
Stuart is joining Cheerful Scout to work on company strategy as part of a major expansion planned for later this year. He has extensive experience in the business communications world from both client and agency perspectives, and has also commissioned and produced a large number of complex projects, live events, and film and video programmes in Europe and North America.
Prior to joining the WPP Group he was the founding Executive Director of the International Visual Communications Association, International Director of the International Television Association, and Executive Director of the Association of Business Communication.
