Zodiak Entertainment Announce Sales Success

With 22 fresh programmes due to be showcased at the upcoming MIPDOC 2010, Zodiak Entertainment Distribution has announced a string of sales.
These are its latest documentary launches: Who Killed Maggie?, Hunting Down Paedophiles: Citizens on the Watch and Millennium: The Story.
Who Killed Maggie?, winner of the Fipa d'Argent award for Best Documentary 2009, is the incisive study by documentary maker William Karel about the political assassination of Margaret Thatcher.
It has been acquired by VRT and RTBF in Belgium, SBS in Australia, Radio Canada, ERT 3 in Greece, IETV Israel, Bulgarian National TV, RTE in Ireland, NHK in Japan, TSR in Switzerland, RTP in Portugal, RAI in Italy and Historic Channel in Russia. Who Killed Maggie? was produced by Cinétévé 2009 for primary broadcaster France 2.
Millennium: The Story, the one-hour documentary examining the extraordinary success of the famous Swedish literary trilogy by Stieg Larsson, has been sold to TSR Switzerland, Be TV Belgium, and Canal+ in Spain and Poland. Millennium: The Story was produced by Impact Press for Canal+ France, it is directed by Laurence Lowenthal.
Hunting Down Paedophiles: Citizens on the Watch, available in 52’ and 90’ versions, is a powerful film about citizens in Cambodia who take it upon themselves to combat on paedophilia due to failings of the national judicial system.
It has been sold to pan Asia broadcaster All Asia Networks, VRT and RTBF in Belgium, TSR and RSI in Switzerland, DR-TV in Denmark, SF Austria, RTE Ireland, TV4 Sweden, TVN Poland, TVI Portugal and Foxtel Australia. Hunting Down Paedophiles: Citizens on the Watch was produced by Premières Lignes TV/Amip France for Canal +, it is directed by Paul Moreira.
