Zodiak Entertainment Formats Seduce Spanish

Zodiak Entertainment Distribution has announced that local versions of two popular formats within its diverse portfolio are to be created in Spain.
The entertainment success Twist & Shout has been commissioned by the second biggest private broadcaster in Spain, Antena 3, beginning with a special on New Year's Eve, and hard-hitting factual reality series Rehab has been commissioned by Cuatro to air during April 2010. Both formats will be produced by Magnolia Spain.
Following the Spanish commission, Twist & Shout will be airing in a total of six countries. It has recently premiered in France as Chante Si Tu Peux on Virgin 17, and gave the channel its best ever performance for an original production. It is produced locally in France by Zodiak Entertainment's ALP.
The factual reality series Rehab, created by Zodiak Entertainment's Palm Plus, has been commissioned by Cuatro for seven episodes.
This much talked about series follows the lives of right young addicts aged between 16 and 30 years old.
Brought together in a recreated rehab clinic for one month, they try to sober up and get clean from their varying addictions including drugs, alcohol, medication, sex, gambling and computer games.
Rehab has also aired in The Netherlands and Germany. During its two series on air in The Netherlands, Rehab more than doubled the average target audience share of 20-34-year-olds for broadcaster NED 3 between 7 and 12 PM, drawing a 12%. YLE in Finland has also recently commissioned six episodes.
