Zodiak Television Announces Senior Executive Appointments

Zodiak Television has announced the appointment of two senior executives to its newly created London based distribution team.
Sarah Coursey joins the international content and distribution company as Head of Formats & Acquisitions and will be looking after all format deals and format acquisitions working alongside Director of Sales David Cornwall. With more than five years experience within the television distribution industry, including Head of Sales at Distraction Formats and positions at Telcast and Paramount Italia, Coursey is an entertainment and scripted format expert.
John Coleman also joins Zodiak Television World as Distribution Operations Manager, managing the integration process of Zodiak Television World and Bullseye Distribution. Going forward, he will be responsible for processing formats and finished tapes, the reporting to third parties and the coordination of markets. Coleman brings with him over seven years experience at companies such as SDI Media and the Walt Disney Company.
Following the recent acquisition of Bullseye TV by Zodiak Television all distribution activities for Zodiak Television are in the process of being moved to London from Copenhagen, to establish a substantial, full service distribution company covering formats, clips, finished programmes and drama, wholly owned by Zodiak Television. The integration of Zodiak Television World will be finished by the end of the year and the London office will be fully operational from January 1.
Jorg Roth, MD of Bullseye Productions and shortly MD of Zodiak Television World commented: "Sarah will blend in perfectly with the existing team. Her experience and reputation in the industry will help us to make the Zodiak catalogue even bigger and better. These are important strategic appointments for Zodiak Television as we move into an exciting new phase within our international distribution business. With the merging of both client databases as well as nineteen Group companies in twelve countries adding local knowledge and a team speaking nine languages, we feel guaranteed that Zodiak Television World will continue to be one of the strongest players in the international arena."
Sarah Coursey commented: "I am thrilled to be part of the Zodiak team at this exciting time of expansion for the Group, and look forward to both leveraging its present format catalogue as well as scouring the market for it’s next big hit."
David Cornwall Director of Sales added: "With the movement of the Zodiak Television World Headquarters to London, we are delighted to have someone of Sarah’s calibre join the team. We now have a platform in place from which to aggressively market our growing catalogue and have some exciting plans for the roll out of new programming in the coming months."
