Autocue Launches Completely New Starter Series Prompter Packages
Following the successful launch of the new 10" and 17" Starter Series prompter packages at NAB 2009 and the subsequent sales around the world, Autocue has added five new products to the series at IBC 2009 - a 7" package, an iPhone package, a conference system (or optional conference add-on to promoting package), Mac OS version of the QStart software and a C-Stand or lighting stand attachment.
The new Starter Series delivers excellent value for money by providing three solutions in one package - on-camera unit, floor standing monitor and above/below camera monitor. The teleprompters are designed to simply pop up out of the box for hassle-free set-up. Everything you need to start prompting is included in the standard package, including: dual screen, icon-driven software (PC or Mac version); easy balance mounting system designed to handle all camera sizes without the need for counterbalance; ten metre VGA cable; and broadcast quality, anti-reflective glass. As with all Autocue prompting products, customers will also receive standard warranties and free support from their in-house teams in the UK and US.
All customers need to do is select a screen size - from 7" (£999) to 17" (£1549). Alternatively, in combination with software downloaded from the App Store (not designed or licensed by Autocue), the 7" hardware has been adapted to fit an iPhone, providing a prompting system for only £599.
Autocue CEO Frank Hyman said: "The new Starter Series demonstrates that we listen to the market and act. There are an increasing number of people who need a basic prompting solution, so we are giving them what they want - an affordable product that is fit for purpose, but doesn't compromise on quality."
Autocue has launched a brand new global website to accompany the introduction of the Starter Series: www.autocue-qtv.com. Here, you can find extensive product information, including data sheets, videos, photos and purchase details. The 10" and 17" are available for next-day delivery and the new additions will be on sale from October 2009.
