XL8 Launches EventCAT Sunscription Packages

News Image
XL8 has launched its updated EventCAT subscription packages designed for real-time translation and global collaboration.

With three core products—EventCAT OnlineMeeting, EventCAT Conference, and EventCAT LiveSubs—this new suite transforms how global organizations communicate, enabling simultaneous multilingual interaction.

At the core of XL8’s solutions is MediaCAT, a powerful AI-driven platform specifically trained on high-quality colloquial data, which is essential for language processing tasks such as media localisation. MediaCAT is complemented by EventCAT, XL8’s real-time AI-powered translation service, which ensures seamless and accurate multilingual communication. EventCAT is designed to break down language barriers during online meetings, live broadcasts, and in-person conferences. It supports 41 languages and provides live translations, subtitles, and transcripts for various use cases, including international conferences, virtual meetings, and streaming events. EventCAT saves organizations and event organizers time and resources and improves the accessibility and value of the content for participants and attendees.

Three EventCAT packages and services:

OnlineMeeting – Integrates with platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, delivering real-time translations and captions of the speech of all participants in virtual meetings. Whether a presenter speaks English and their colleagues speak Korean, German, or Japanese, each party can see live translations in their preferred language.

Conference – Tailored for in-person events, it generates live translated subtitles that are displayed on a screen or mobile device. Already gaining traction in universities and large-scale events, it allows presenters to deliver their message to a diverse audience, with translations appearing live on-screen or through personal mobile devices.

LiveSubs - Provides subtitles for live streams and broadcasts for multilingual viewing. Supporting multiple video streaming formats, non-profit organizations, religious institutions, and online news channels have praised its effectiveness in providing inclusive communication to diverse audiences.

According to Business Research Insights, the global interpretation market was valued at US$ 9.5 Billion in 2022, with an expected CAGR of 10.76% from 2022 to 2031, reaching US$ 26.6 Billion by 2031. The Interpretation market has been throttled by the cost-prohibitive and limited supply of interpreters, and with the addition of AI-powered models like EventCAT, corporations, education institutes and schools, nonprofit and government organizations, houses of worship, and event companies can deliver accurate and cost-effective translations, connecting audiences and participants in real-time.

Aruem Choi from OpsNow praises EventCAT for its impact on their meetings. “EventCAT seamlessly integrates with our virtual meeting and offers real-time translations that enable our team to concentrate on the discussions rather than language hindrances. EventCAT guarantees that everyone is aligned in their language with minimal effort, promoting global teamwork and inclusivity."
