Autocue appoint new Prompting Sales Manager
Autocue has announced that Carlo DeCianti, formerly UK Hire Manager, has been promoted to Prompting Sales Manager.
DeCianti will be in charge of the Sales and Marketing for Autocue’s range of Prompting hardware and software products in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. DeCianti has been with Autocue for the past eight years and in that time has built up a complete knowledge of the prompting industry and will maintain the same high quality service that has made Autocue the No.1 prompting company in the world for the past 50 years.
DeCianti said: “I am both honoured and excited to have been given this opportunity to continue Autocue's global success within both the prompting and newsroom industry. I believe that a fresh approach and creativity from its next generation of leaders is just what Autocue needs to bring it through the next 50 years and to maintain our position as market leaders. It is essential for any business to adapt and deal with change in order to compete with the ever-evolving market and this, along with our innovative and award-winning products is why we are still number one after half a century. I am looking forward to bringing Autocue into the next half century.”
UK Hire will be managed by James McAnulty who previously has worked in Autocue’s Hire Department managing the team of riggers relied upon daily to install Autocue systems at live studios across the UK. McAnulty has also worked in Technical Support for both the prompting Sales and Hire customers.
Richard Dukes, Autocue’s Executive Sales and Marketing Director, said: “As Autocue prepares to celebrate its golden anniversary in 2005, the company will continue to be fully committed to providing the highest quality and most innovative broadcast products along with premium service to our valued customers. Both Carlo and James have demonstrated the leadership and creative vision to ensure Autocue's continued success into the next 50 years."
