Back To The Planet Celebrates The Natural World
The Bristol-based ethical video production company, Back To The Planet, is taking part in Britain's biggest celebration of the natural world, The Festival of Nature.
This free event will take place at Bristol's harbourside on June 6 and 7.
Back To The Planet will be based in the Green Forum tent alongside other organisations, NGO's and charities.
With animal encounters, exhibitions, films, talks and workshops, the Festival of Nature offers something for everyone. Back To The Planet will be holding a fundraiser for the Galapagos Conservation Trust, with the chance to win a framed photograph by William A. Bolton, one of the regions most talented photographers of the natural world.
There will also be an opportunity for festival-goers to put forward suggestions of a documentary they would like Back To The Planet to produce.
Ideas may focus on subjects that have so far received little attention and need further investigation and explanation or may feature an inspirational person, group or story that deserves to be told.
Established in 2007, Back To The Planet produces training, educational, promotional and corporate video material for a range of organisations and companies. When asked what makes Back To The Planet ethical, Jenny Whitemore, researcher for Back To The Planet, said: "We work to a comprehensive Social and Environmental Policy and aim for our videos to support the work of other ethical and environmentally responsible companies."
The Festival of Nature is an annual event, bringing together everyone interested in learning more about the world around us. The festival offers information, interaction and is guaranteed to inspire. You can find more information on the work of Back To The Planet at: www.backtotheplanet.co.uk as well as a link to the Festival of Nature website.
