KEO Films Announces Expansion Of Production Team

KEO Films has announced the appointment of two new members of its production team.
Maddy Allen has been appointed Head of Production and Katie Buchanan will be joining the team as an Executive Producer.
Both appointments come following a time of expansion for the company, which is renowned for its work in the factual arena, and for producing programmes attracting critical acclaim, including 'Hugh's Chicken Run' (C4) and 'Meet the Natives' (C4), which are both nominated in the 'Best Documentary Series' category for the Grierson Awards this year.
As Head of Production, Allen will work with the directors of KEO Films to manage the company's continuing international growth. Prior to joining KEO Films, she was Head of Production at RAW TV and at October Films she was Production Manager and Line Producer.
Buchanan joins KEO from Walker George Films, where she worked on the creation and development of factual entertainment productions such as 'Brothers and Sisters in Love' (ITV) and 'George Melly's Last Stand' (BBC2/BBC4), shortlisted for a Grierson Award. She has also worked at RDF Television where she was responsible for popular factual hits 'Extraordinary Breastfeeding (C4) and 'Make Me A Man' (C4).
Zam Baring, MD, KEO Films, said: "These appointments come at an exciting stage in our company development. Both Maddy and Katie are renowned for their experience across a range of factual formats. I look forward to them playing a key part in our future plans for international growth and I'm sure they will help the company to continue to produce eye-catching programming."
