Impossible Pictures Appoints Paul Wooding As New Executive Producer For Factual

Independent television production company Impossible Pictures has appointed RTS award-winning producer Paul Wooding as its new executive producer for factual.
In this role, Wooding will work closely with Tim Haines to build on Impossible's heritage in the factual arena.
Prior to joining Impossible, Wooding was a senior executive producer at Darlow Smithson Productions where he worked on a number of high profile projects including 'Alive' a co-production between Channel 4 and Discovery 'As It Happens' for Channel 4 and 'Smash Lab' and 'True Heroes' for Discovery.
Wooding started his career at the BBC where he worked as an editor, director, producer and executive producer. He was also one of the founder members of Lion Television, before executive producing at Mentorn Barraclough Carey and head of programming at Folio Productions.
Wooding said: "I'm looking forward to building on the range of excellent programmes Impossible Pictures is already renowned for, and welcome the opportunity to take the company further into new areas."
Wooding's appointment follows the announcement of Northern Ireland-based 360 Productions; Impossible's joint venture with outgoing Timewatch editor John Farren. 360 Productions will specialise in high-end specialist factual and docu-drama for both television and emerging platforms.
