Digital Vision Announces Showcase At Siggraph 2008

Digital Vision, a leading provider of picture enhancement systems for film and television post-production, has announced its participation at the upcoming Siggraph 2008.
The company, which has an office in North Hollywood, will attend the show to present new technologies aimed at visual effects finishing such as native Open EXR high dynamic range grading and automated archive repurposing.
New features include the ability to process in full 32bit floating point per channel without any clipping. All tools have been implemented in floating point including noise reduction, aperture correction as well as grading and isolation tools.
Digital Vision experts will be on hand at Siggraph with the latest version of colour grading system, Film Master, and the standard-setting remastering application Phoenix, featuring standards conversion, detail enhancement, and automatic defect removal as well as conform and primary grading.
Digital Vision will partner on a stand with the Imagica Technologies, which will present its new image quality plug-in package for high-end compositing systems, O-gi.
Known as an innovative partner in the creative community, Digital Vision's powerful products blend seamlessly into visual effects, digital intermediate and restoration pipelines and have been used in countless commercials, feature films, music videos and television programmes.
The Film Master is a comprehensive colour grading and finishing solution, while Phoenix focuses on restoration, remastering and repurposing assets to create the highest quality deliverables for digital cinema, high definition transmission, BluRay disc and VOD services.
Siggraph, the 35th International Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques is set to take place between August 12 and 14 at the LA Convention Centre in Los Angeles.
Digital Vision will be located in Stand 624 during Siggraph 2008.
