Digital Vision and Bright Systems announce international business partnership
Digital Vision, a leading developer of advanced digital media applications and Bright Systems, a market leader in file server and infrastructure technology for the post production industry, have announced an international business partnership.
This partnership will enable Digital Vision to supply and support its colour correction, data conforming, mastering and image processing tools integrated with Bright Systems’ newly launched BrightDrive family of shared media products, which will provide powerful data-centric film and video solutions to DI and post facilities.
Both the Bright Systems and Digital Vision product ranges include ground-breaking architecture designed to enhance productivity and bring increased flexibility to the creative processes involved in DI post-production. Used together, the products form an extremely powerful and compelling solution that addresses the challenges of today’s data-centric workflows.
By integrating Bright Systems’ BrightDrive media sharing solutions with Digital Vision’s award-winning Nucoda Film Master, Film Cutter, Data Conform and DVO image processing products, all operators in the creative pipeline have uninhibited access to media files simultaneously at resolutions of up to 4K and beyond in smooth real time.
“Our two companies share the same philosophy, to provide digital artists and producers with the most technologically advanced and cost-effective products in order for them to best utilise their skills in the creation of high quality finished products, while at the same time, attain optimum productivity and business efficiencies,” said Antony Harris, CEO, Bright Systems. “The Digital Vision team has always demonstrated a high degree of technical excellence and we are looking forward to working alongside them.”
