DVS Look To CLIPSTER, ProntoXway, and Cine4K At ISE

At this year's ISE from January 29 to 31, DVS Digital Video Systems AG will demonstrate its leadership in presentation technology with a display of products for a wide range of applications.
Visitors will also be provided with an opportunity to experience the impressive quality of uncompressed image data in SD, HD, 2K, and 4K.
At this year's ISE in Amsterdam, at booth Q105, visitors may learn how to use DVS technology to create presentations with uncompressed material in SD, HD, 2K, and 4K. DVS shows how its high-performance systems CLIPSTER, ProntoXway, and Cine4K are setting new standards in the field of video technology. Thanks to an open design and the excellent interoperation of innovative software with reliable and rugged hardware, DVS products integrate easily into high-end video workflows. With the Spycer data manager and the Centaurus II and HydraCinema video boards, DVS presents even more highlights from its product portfolio.
At the DVS booth, visitors to the exhibition will experience a quantum leap in presentation technology: DVS presents its Cine4K player for optimum presentation of uncompressed 4K data - at a frame rate of 60p. Cine4K easily realizes demanding D-cinema projects, realistic motion rides, and 3-D presentations.
With its two independent channels, the ProntoXway disk recorder is perfectly adapted to the needs of the presentation and broadcast market. The channels are controlled separately and use a shared content. ProntoXway is capable of handling simultaneous recording and playback, or simultaneous playback on two channels. As a matter of course, the editing functions allow the direct editing of recorded image data.
DCI mastering with the DVS flagship CLIPSTER will be another focus at the DVS booth. This DI workstation supports all necessary steps, from Digital Source Master (DSM) to Digital Cinema Package (DCP). CLIPSTER easily handles compressed and uncompressed SD, HD, 2K, and 4K data in real time. The workstation supports more than 100 graphic formats, as well as all QuickTime formats such as JPEG2000.
At the ISE, DVS will also present the innovative Spycer data manager. Spycer is able to generate a distributed network that allows users to search, edit, and convert image data and related meta information without the requirement of a central database or complex installation processes. With its high-speed copy functionality and reliable defragmentation optimized for file sequences, Spycer is the perfect management tool for data-based video workflows.
With the Centaurus II and HydraCinema video boards, DVS offers perfect equipment for manufacturers of high-performance AV systems. Centaurus II supports real-time I/O of SD, HD, 2K and 4K data. HydraCinema is ideally suited for the playback of DCI-specified material and is able to handle formats such as JPEG2000, which are essential for the successful realization of digital cinema projects.
