'Gay Police' To Film At Dublin's GAZE Festival

Notasuch Film’s latest short doc ‘Gay Police’ will screen at Dublin’s GAZE Festival.
An insight into the work of the gay police officer, how they are treated by colleagues, perceived by the general public, how their lives unfold inside and outside of the job, and how this reflects the changing face of our society.
This short film is a only a taste of things to come. Producer Kate Southwell said: “We aim to develop this project into a feature length, year-in-the-life of 6 gay officers from different parts of the UK and Ireland.”
Director Vincent Kinnaird added: “Having been given full access to the UK Gay Police Association, we also wish to see how attitudes differ to the organisation in different parts of N Ireland, England Scotland and Wales.”
The project is currently being developed as part of Notasuch’s Channel 4 Creative Cities development plan. The doc will also soon be available to watch on demand on Channel 4’s FourDocs website.
