VTR install Freeway and ICON units
VTR have installed a variety of Pro-Bel Freeway routers, together with a range of ICON System Builder products, at their facilities in Dean Street, Soho.
To be housed in VTR's 'D' Cinema, the system will offer multi-format, including HD, facilities to clients.
Freeway AES, analogue video and timecode routers, as well as dedicated control panels and ICON conversion and distribution products, are all installed on floor two, with the Pro-Bel Aurora control system being at The Hive on the floor below. The new facility enables VTR to consolidate their HD resources on one purpose built floor.
Paul Cosford, VTR's Chief Engineer, said: "Sticking to one manufacturer has huge advantages - both from a confidence point of view, as well as technology integration. "We've always used Pro-Bel products and appreciate the reliability and good service that we continue to receive as a matter of course."
