IRISH COMPANY ANIMATES MADONNA VIDEO

IRISH animation company, Monster Animation & Design, has recently added work on a top music video to its list of credits.
The company recently signed a contract to work on the animation section of Madonna’s music video ‘Music’ featuring prankster presenter Ali G.
Monster Animations Managing Director, Gerard O’Rourke said: “This is a great breakthrough for us. We are as good as the best in the world – sometimes you just need a lucky break like this to really establish your standing in the industry.”
Monster’s Creative Director, Gary O’Neill travelled to Sweden to work with animation company Filmtecknarna who produced the animation. Here the music video was planned and once the scenes were ready Gary returned to Dublin with the scenes and the animators.
Jason Taemmemagi, Monster’s Directing Animator, supervised all of the work in Dublin. The animated drawings were digitised and every frame was sent via the internet to Sweden and directly to Madonna for approval.
Monster Animation provide high quality animation for TV commercials previously done in the UK while also developing their own TV Animation series.
Their involvement in the video highlights the continuous success of Irish animation companies in the international marketplace.
