Bazley Films to work on new BBC animation

Corsham Media Park based Bazley Films are to direct, animate and produce a section of High Eagle Productions' animated film for the BBC, 'The Cunning Little Vixen'.
Company founder Richard Bazley, whose team includes former Disney and Warner Bros. artists, is best known for his supervising work on Warner Bros.’ 'The Iron Giant', 'Osmosis Jones' and Disney’s 'Hercules'.
Bazley likens the 'loose' drawing style employed in The Cunning Little Vixen to Disney's 'The Aristocats' and was inspired for the backgrounds by Toulouse Lautrec.
The Cunning Little Vixen is based on the novel by Rudolf Tésnohlídek, which also served as the basis for Czechoslovakian Composer Janácek’s original libretto of the same title.
