TOP PILOTS SOUGHT FOR TV WRITERS’ WORKSHOP

PILOTS, a leading Media training programme, are seeking writers, teams of writers, producers and writers, and directors for a 2-day scriptwriting workshop that is to be held in Belfast from September 26.
The applicant must send a 3-5 page project description and CV to the MEDIA Service NI.
The project description should include the idea, summary of the story and characters (or sample stories in the case of a series), and the programmes target audience.
Over the past seven years, more than 130 television projects have passed through Pilots workshops, and over half of these have been produced or are in the course of production.
The conference will be held at the Queen’s Film Theatre, and the individual script analysis will take place at the Northern Ireland Film Commission in the afternoon and all day Wednesday, September 27.
