WRITER/DIRECTOR JOINS SCRIPTNET TEAM IN GHANA

WRITER and director Robert Dyke is to join a group of professional screenwriters in Ghana later in the year as part of a Scriptnet 2000 project.
Dyke, who wrote and directed the short film ‘Ticks’, will be joining the team as a director and mentor.
Scriptnet 2000 is a charity skillsharing project between the UK and Ghana, a team, led by a group of professional screenwriters have recently spent six months in Ghana running a series of workshops to produce five original Ghanian short film scripts.
The scripts have been further developed in the UK by a panel of advisors led by writer/director William Boyd.
A further training programme, for Ghanian directors, producers and cameramen, aims to produce all five shorts and then exhibit them internationally.
