NEW SCHEME TO PRODUCE SCI-FI SHORT FILM
THE First Film Foundation and cable and satellite channel Sci-Fi are launching a new scheme that offers the chance to make a high quality, ten-minute film on a science fiction theme.
The winning film will be produced by the First Film Foundation, and exhibited nationally in UCI cinemas, as well as on the Sci-Fi channel and at industry showcases.
Scripts should be 10 minutes or less and reflect an innovative interpretation of sci-fi, from the serious and spine-chilling to the humorous and thought provoking.
Applications may be made by either screenwriters or directors, and the directors short-listed will be invited to pitch for the chance to direct their winning scripts.
