PHILIPS LINK WITH DUTCH BROADCASTER NOB

Philips Digital Networks have confirmed that they are to supply their latest digital Goldline program encoders to Dutch broadcast company NOB for use in their new interactive consumer services.
NOB have set up a special group to develop these services, which are strongly linked with projects funded by the European Commission.
Jan Looimans, General Manager of broadcast activities for Philips said: “We are proud to be able to further contribute to our co-operation with NOB, especially in the new digital world of convergence.”
The new Philips Goldline program encoders launched at IBC 2000 are suitable for satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcast.
