EDS AND MEDIAGENIX AID BROADCASTERS
MEDIAGENIX providers of broadcast management solutions have struck a partnership deal with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) that will combine the two companies' expertise.
EDS provide the global IT services market with a range of solutions for the digital economy, while MediaGeniX who have established a strong European base, produce scheduling software for broadcasters. Both companies have adopted a proactive approach towards change in business processes and technology.
CEO of MediaGeniX Arlette Vercammen said: “We are currently negotiating with some major players in the global TV market. In order to face that global challenge, we have joined forces with EDS, a company with unparalleled experience in deploying complex business systems worldwide and across different industries.”
According to Dr. Reza Jafari, President of EDS’ Communications, Entertainment & Media Global Industry Group, this partnership fits perfectly into the frame of a converging marketplace.
