NIGHTLY ‘NUTS & BOLTS’ ON HTV WALES

A NEW series of the award winning ‘Nuts & Bolts’ is to run nightly on HTV Wales from October 2.
‘Nuts & Bolts’ has proven to be a phenomenal success for HTV Wales, scooping the Royal Television Society (RTS) Award for Best Regional Programme, being shown four times on ITV2 with plans to repeat it again twice and also to show the second series on the network digital channel.
HTV Wales Director of Programmes, Elis Owen said: “The decision to show ‘Nuts & Bolts’ nightly underlines our faith in the drama and our commitment to transmitting Welsh-made programmes in peak.”
Over the past few months the second series of ‘Nuts & Bolts’ has been filming in Merthyr Tydfil. The latest series runs to 26 episodes, six more than last year.
HTV Wales Head of Drama, Peter Edwards said: “We don’t want to shock or frighten anybody. But ‘Nuts & Bolts’ is always going to push the boundaries and be stimulating to watch, hopefully, for all age ranges.”
