HTV SELECT CUSTOM CONSOLES

HTV have selected Custom Consoles to provide a fully customised suite of furniture for Studio 2 at HTV Wales in Cardiff.
With only a limited space available in studio 2, particular attention had to be paid to the design of the consoles and the equipment layout. Within these restrictions the design had to provide an efficient work area for up to seven operators.
Two L-shaped desks with monitor stacks were designed and installed into the production and lighting/vision control areas of studio 2. A 5m long desk was produced for the lighting and vision area, as well as a 5m x 3m console for the production area, specifically tailored to the room shape. The studio will be used for news and sports broadcasts.
